(Digital Itla) The government has made a major announcement for citizens distressed by inflation and struggling with home construction and repairs. According to ARY News, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while addressing a ceremony in Lahore, stated that 200,000 houses have been built within two years under the "Apna Ghar" (My Home) scheme, and those who did not own land were given 5-marla plots.

Announcing a new government scheme for home construction and renovation in this era of inflation, Maryam Nawaz said practical steps have begun to provide shelter to the public. A sum of 500,000 PKR will be provided to repair house roofs.

She added that opponents claim she only focuses on Lahore, whereas she is focusing on the entire Punjab province. Schools across the province have been upgraded, and even the son of Education Minister Rana Sikandar now studies in a government school. Nawaz Sharif Schools will be established in every tehsil of Punjab. She also shared that a program worth 25 billion PKR has been launched for school children, under which 1.2 million children receive a milk pack and biscuits daily. Launching such programs has increased school enrollment.

The Chief Minister stated that air-conditioned buses now run in every city of Punjab, and the WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency) system is being established province-wide. Maryam Nawaz said every person living in Punjab is her responsibility, law and order have improved, and daughters are safe. She emphasized that children should learn Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
