FAISALABAD, Aug 15, 2026 — The funeral prayer for Faisalabad police constable Kausar Raza, who died while serving, was held at the Police Lines in Faisalabad, attended by Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira, City Police Officer Tanveer Hussain and a large number of senior police officers and personnel.

Kausar Raza was serving at Madina Town Police Station in Faisalabad. According to police officials, he died after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest while on duty.

During the funeral, RPO Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira met the deceased constable’s family and expressed his condolences and sympathy. He prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased, elevation of his ranks in the hereafter and patience for the bereaved family.

Sukhaira described Constable Kausar Raza as a hardworking, dutiful and responsible police officer who performed his responsibilities diligently during his service.

He said Faisalabad Police stood with the bereaved family in their hour of grief and would provide them with all possible support.

The RPO added that the police department held the services and sacrifices of its martyrs and personnel who died during service in high regard.
