Faisalabad 15 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) FAISALABAD / TANDLIANWALA: A shooting incident over a property dispute in Chak No. 410 GB under City Police Station Tandlianwala left one person dead. A murder case has been registered upon the complaint of the victim's brother against former Secretary District Bar Faisalabad, Murtaza Hakeem, along with other nominated armed accomplices.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident occurred on October 14, 2026. The complainant, Zafar Iqbal, stated that former Bar Secretary Murtaza Hakeem along with Athar, Waseem, Itfaq, Imran, and nearly 15 other armed individuals arrived at a disputed plot near Smart City Colony to attempt a forced land grabbing.
The FIR specifies that upon resistance, accused Murtaza Hakeem allegedly incited his accomplices and ordered direct gunfire. A gunshot hit the victim, Parm, who later succumbed to his severe injuries. The suspects also engaged in violent aerial firing to spread terror before escaping.
Police have registered a case against former Secretary District Bar Murtaza Hakeem and other named suspects under PPC Sections 302, 148, and 149, launching a full investigation into the incident.
