FAISALABAD (August 19, 2026): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed officials to make ongoing efforts to achieve the authority’s revenue recovery targets more effective and take indiscriminate action against defaulters.

He issued the directives while reviewing progress on the recovery of government dues and the achievement of revenue targets at a meeting attended by Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rand, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub and Directors Asma Mohsin, Junaid Hassan Manj, Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Afnan Saeed Sindhu and other relevant officers.

The meeting reviewed progress in revenue collection by various departments, recovery of outstanding dues, pending cases and income generated from different sources. Officials briefed the DG on the authority’s revenue targets, collections achieved so far and the future strategy.

Muhammad Asif Chaudhry instructed officers to adopt a comprehensive and effective strategy to achieve revenue recovery targets and accelerate the collection of outstanding dues using all available resources.

He said revenue recovery was crucial for the FDA’s financial self-sufficiency and the continuity of its development activities, adding that negligence or delays in this regard would not be tolerated.

He directed relevant officers to ensure effective field monitoring, keep records updated and deal with revenue-related matters on a priority basis. He also ordered regular performance reviews and effective monitoring of progress against the assigned targets.

The FDA director general said strengthening the authority’s financial resources, improving the revenue recovery system and stabilizing its income were among the administration’s key priorities to ensure better civic facilities for residents and effective implementation of development projects.
