FAISALABAD 3 Oct (Digital Itla) — The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has launched a decisive crackdown against financial defaulters, directing authorities to ensure 100% recovery of dues and threatening immediate sealing of properties in case of non-payment.
The directive was issued by FDA Director General Muhammad Asef Chaudhry, who maintained that zero negligence or unnecessary delays in revenue recovery would be tolerated by the institution.
To implement the orders, a high-level meeting was chaired by Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rand to review the ongoing recovery campaign and evaluate current progress. The session was attended by Deputy Directors of Finance Adnan Shehzad, Afzal Ansari, and other relevant officials.
The Additional Director General instructed officials to issue formal notices to defaulters and initiate unsparing legal action for continued non-compliance. He emphasized that field recovery teams must actively identify defaulter properties, as recovering dues is vital for the financial discipline and self-sustainability of the FDA.
Furthermore, Qaiser Abbas Rand mandated all departments to maintain regularly updated records and submit daily progress reports on their respective recovery cases to ensure transparent and efficient administration.
