Faisalabad Police Deploys More Than 3,000 Personnel for Eid Milad-un-Nabi Security

 

FAISALABAD, Pakistan — Aug. 25, 2026: Faisalabad police have issued a comprehensive security plan for processions and religious gatherings marking 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, with more than 3,000 police officers and personnel to be deployed across the district.

According to police, 143 processions and 20 religious gatherings will be held across Faisalabad. Special security arrangements have been made along procession routes and at gathering venues.

Walk-through gates will be installed at entry points to facilitate thorough screening of participants, while additional police personnel will be deployed to monitor suspicious individuals and activities.

Under the directions of Faisalabad City Police Officer Tanveer Hussain, Elite Force teams and Muhafiz squads will patrol alongside the processions. Elite Force and Dolphin Force personnel will also be deployed along procession and Milad programme routes.

Police said the routes will be monitored through CCTV cameras, while a dedicated control room has been established to oversee security arrangements in real time.

Traffic management measures have also been completed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the events and minimise disruption for residents.

Police urged citizens to immediately report any suspicious person or activity to the relevant police station or helpline.

Authorities said all available resources were being used to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of participants during the 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal events.
