FAISALABAD, Oct 2, 2026 (Digital Itla): The General Council of the Faisalabad Martial Arts Association held its election meeting at the Crescent Sports Complex on Friday, where representatives from over ten associated bodies elected a new team of office-bearers for a four-year term. During the ceremony, Chief Guest Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar administered the oath to the newly elected officials and distributed official notification certificates. Dr. Izhar-ul-Haq was chosen as the Patron-in-Chief, Al-Husam-ul-Haq as Chairman, Haji Muhammad Rafi as President, and Ishtiaq Turabi as General Secretary. The newly formed leadership also includes Muhammad Abbas and Rana Rehman as Senior Vice Presidents, Rauf Naz as Vice Chairman, Ali Adnan as Deputy General Secretary, Muhammad Atif Nomi Malik as Joint and Information Secretary, and Malik Mukhtar Awan as Legal Advisor. Additionally, a comprehensive executive body including prominent figures such as Haji Mohsin Farooq, Hafiz Azhar Mahmood, Saima Iqbal, and Batool Zainab was elected to spearhead martial arts development in the region over the next four years.
