FAISALABAD — September 29 (Digital Itla): The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Faisalabad has arrested a private individual, Sultan Farooq, a resident of Sammundri, in connection with Case No. 15/26.
According to anti-corruption authorities, the suspect allegedly colluded with the relevant patwari to fabricate fake and fraudulent documents for 1,144 kanals of land, and fraudulently extorted 15 million rupees (1.5 crore rupees) from the complainant.
Authorities stated that the case was registered on February 25, 2026, at the Anti-Corruption Region Police Station Faisalabad. The FIR includes sections 420, 468, 471, and 161 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), along with section 5/2/47 of the Anti-Corruption Act. The operation was conducted by Circle Officer Rana Rashid Mahmood and his team.
It should be noted that the final status of the allegations leveled in the case will be determined by the court following evidence and legal proceedings.
