FAISALABAD (August 19, 2026): The Suthra Punjab Agency has deployed an Anti-Littering Squad in Faisalabad to prevent littering and improve cleanliness across the city, following directions from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif under the Suthra Punjab initiative.
The squad began its activities in the Clock Tower Chowk area, where officials are educating citizens and shopkeepers about maintaining cleanliness.
Officials are encouraging residents to avoid throwing waste in open spaces and use designated waste bins. Shopkeepers are also being advised to keep their shops and surrounding areas clean.
The initiative, launched on the directions of Suthra Punjab Agency CEO Abid Hussain Bhatti, aims to strengthen the city’s waste-management system, reduce environmental pollution and promote awareness about cleanliness among citizens.
