FAISALABAD, Pakistan 28 Sep (Digital Itla) — Authorities cleared illegal encroachments outside the Ghulam Muhammad Abad vegetable market during an enforcement operation on Monday, directing vendors to strictly operate within market boundaries, officials said.
The operation was conducted by the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) force under the directives of Assistant Commissioner City Aurangzeb Goraya and SDEO PERA City Nadeem Nasir.Enforcement teams removed unauthorized stalls and structures to restore smooth traffic flow along the primary access roads surrounding the market.
Officials issued strict warnings to vendors, emphasizing that future violations, unlawful trading outside designated limits, or re-establishing encroachments will result in immediate legal action and the lodging of First Information Reports (FIRs).
