(Digital Itla) Police have registered a case against prominent social media influencer and TikToker Rajab Butt and several of his associates following an incident involving alleged assault on women, harassment, and gunfire inside a local cafe in Nawab Town, Lahore.
The FIR was lodged on the complaint of a woman named Ayesha Jutt. She stated that on July 25, she went to a local cafe with her friends, where two men and two women harassed one of her friends, leading to a heated argument.
According to the complainant, when she attempted to intervene, the suspects hurled verbal abuse and slapped her. One of the suspects, Mir Shafi, pulled out a pistol and fired shots into the air.
The FIR further alleges that Rajab Butt was present at the scene and participated in the assault on the complainant and her friend during the altercation.
Nawab Town Police registered the case under Sections 354, 506(B), and 337-H(2) of the Pakistan Penal Code and launched an investigation into the matter.
