Allied Hospital security paradox: Visitors face strict entry barriers while panhandlers roam freely inside wards unchallenged

Faisalabad 10 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): A glaring display of administrative apathy has come to light at Allied Hospital, Faisalabad, where citizens and attendants visiting patients face severe restrictions and rigorous checks at entry points, while panhandlers and professional beggars roam openly inside sensitive medical wards unchecked.

Patients' relatives and observers have strongly criticized the hospital administration, pointing out that strict security protocols are selectively enforced to harass or block genuine visitors and relatives of the sick. Meanwhile, beggars easily bypass security checkpoints and wander directly up to patient beds inside the wards. Public circles have termed the administration's silence and inaction over this blatant security lapse as highly questionable.

Citizens have urgently appealed to the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Allied Hospital and high-ranking health authorities to take strict notice of the situation, demanding the immediate elimination of unauthorized individuals from hospital wards to ensure a peaceful, secure, and hygienic environment for under-treatment patients.
