Additional Deputy Commissioner Maleeha Sehar Registers Domestic Violence Case Against Husband in RawalpindI

RAWALPINDI: 5 Oct (Digital Itla) — The Women Police Station has registered a case of domestic violence and wrongful confinement against the husband of female Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Headquarters Rawalpindi, Maleeha Sehar, on her direct complaint.

According to the FIR, Maleeha Sehar, a mother of two, stated that she has been facing continuous physical and psychological abuse by her husband for several months. The complaint details that on the evening of October 2, her husband subjected her to severe violence, locked her in a room, and snatched her mobile phone. The suspect allegedly kept her in wrongful confinement, restricted her from meeting her family and children, and continued to inflict mental torture and death threats.

The senior civil official has requested police to document the physical injury marks on her body, collect evidence from the scene, and prevent her husband from using the children to exert pressure on her. Maleeha Sehar expressed grave concerns regarding threats to the life, physical safety, and dignity of herself and her children.
