US-Iran War: Attacks Continue for a 5th Night, 7 Iranian Soldiers Martyred

(Digital Itla) The U.S. and Iran struck each other's installations for the fifth consecutive night. U.S. Central Command stated that U.S. forces completed the latest wave of strikes on Iran, targeting Iranian command centers, air defenses, missile and drone facilities, and multiple locations including Bandar Abbas. Coastal defenses and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island were also targeted.

The Iranian military stated that 7 soldiers were martyred and several injured in the U.S. attacks. The U.S. attacked a cantonment in the Bampur area of Sistan-Baluchestan, targeting a barracks with 13 missiles.

In response, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) claimed they launched a joint missile and drone attack on the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. In a statement broadcasted by the IRIB network, the IRGC stated that during the eighth wave of its "Nasr 2" operation, it targeted a C-RAM early warning radar and a gathering point of U.S. troops. The Iranian military claimed that the U.S. is using Kuwaiti territory for attacks against Iran and called on the Kuwaiti public to demand the withdrawal of U.S. forces from their country.

Iran also claimed a drone strike on U.S. installations at Jordan's Azraq Air Base, stating that U.S. communication systems, a radar site, and fuel reserves were hit. According to the Iranian military, this drone strike was part of the ninth phase of Operation Saeqeh and was carried out in response to recent U.S. actions against Iran.
