FAISALABAD: 6 Oct (Digital Itla)--- US authorities have announced a reward of $100,000 for information leading to the arrest of Faheem Akram, a resident of Khanewal, Punjab, who has been indicted in the US state of Florida.

According to details, 33-year-old Faheem Akram, an IT specialist, allegedly operated a website named "labelsbank.com" that sold discounted postage stamps and shipping labels to US citizens. US federal investigators stated that the operation caused a staggering $126 million (approximately PKR 35 billion) in losses to the United States Postal Service (USPS). The website has since been seized and shut down by authorities.

Investigations reveal that the suspect used the platform to sell over 5 million counterfeit stamps to more than 5,200 individuals, allowing users to bypass proper postage calculations for weight and destination.

US law enforcement has cautioned the public not to attempt to apprehend the suspect personally, urging anyone with information to contact security officials immediately. Details regarding Akram's current whereabouts remain unconfirmed.
