(Digital Itla) Torrential rains across Punjab have caused widespread devastation, leaving 10 people dead, including women and children, in various rain-related incidents. Roof collapses and urban flooding severely disrupted daily life. In Lahore, three people, including a woman, died in roof collapses, while several others were injured. In Kasur, two died and three were injured due to a collapsed roof. In Gujrat, three siblings lost their lives when a house roof caved in. A woman was killed and four were injured in Hujra Shah Muqeem due to a roof collapse, and a child drowned in rainwater in Gujranwala.

The Meteorological Department has forecast more rain across most parts of the country, including Punjab, until July 27. Meanwhile, the PDMA released an update on river flows, stating that flows across Punjab remained stable over the past 24 hours despite significant increases from upper-region rainfall. A low-level flood is reported in the Indus River at Kalabag, Chashma, and Taunsa, as well as in the Chenab River at Marala, Khanki, Qadirabad, and Trimmu. Water flows in the Sutlej and Jhelum rivers remain normal, while the Ravi River is experiencing low-level flooding at Balloki and Sidhnai. Medium flooding is reported in Nullah Basantar, Narowal, and high-level flooding in Nullah Palkhu.
