FAISALABAD, Pakistan 27 Sep (Digital Itla) — A 16-year-old construction worker died on Sunday after falling during the demolition of a under-construction plaza along Sheikhupura Road in Faisalabad, emergency officials said.
The incident occurred near the Gutwala Toll Plaza in the Sitara Valley area while workers were dismantling a support pillar, according to emergency service Rescue 1122.
The victim, identified as Saqlain, son of Waris, fell from the pillar during the demolition process and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Rescue 1122 personnel responded to the site, completed preliminary procedural requirements, and handed the body over to the victim's family.
