(Digital Itla) Reacting to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's proposal regarding the creation of new administrative units, Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah stated that it is a rehashed proposal that the people of Sindh will not accept.

Speaking to the media in Bhit Shah, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah mentioned that he heard Mohsin Naqvi's statement, though he did not know what the Interior Minister was referring to.

Murad Ali Shah noted that the PML-N governs Punjab, the country's largest province; a coalition government exists in Balochistan; the PPP governs Sindh; and the PTI is in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Sindh Chief Minister stated that if Mohsin Naqvi believes the current system is not functioning well, he can offer his suggestions, but proposals regarding new provinces or administrative units are unacceptable to the people of Sindh.

He stated that Sindh is the land of Sufis, and its people will not accept such proposals.

Speaking about the youth, Murad Ali Shah emphasized that young people are the future and asset of the country. Youth must step forward and take charge of the nation's reins, and they have never been viewed in a negative light.

The Sindh Chief Minister added that the PPP considers the youth a vital part of the nation's development and believes in creating better opportunities for them.

It should be noted that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently declared the creation of new administrative units essential for national development, stating that improvement is needed in the current system and new administrative units or provinces could help resolve issues.
