Sargodha police launch major crackdown, arrest individuals backing proclaimed offenders and promoting them on social media

Sargodha 8 Oct (DIGITAL ITLA): Under the directives of DPO Sargodha Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, Sargodha Police have initiated a specialized crackdown against individuals providing shelter, support, and patronage to hardened criminals, as well as those promoting and encouraging their criminal activities on social media.

According to police, several individuals who used platforms like Facebook and TikTok to endorse and glorify criminal acts and support proclaimed offenders have been arrested, and formal legal proceedings have been initiated against them.

DPO Sargodha Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem stated unequivocally that no compromise will be made on the supremacy of the law. He warned that anyone assisting criminals or using social media to publicize and encourage lawlessness will face strict, uncompromising legal action. Police have also urged citizens to refrain from sharing or promoting such content and to report any suspicious activities immediately.
