FAISALABAD — September 29 (Digital Itla): The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Faisalabad has arrested a suspect, Khurram Shehzad, for allegedly spreading fabricated, misleading, and anti-state provocative content via social media.
According to NCCIA authorities, a case numbered 146/2026 has been registered against the suspect, incorporating sections 20, 24, and 26A of PECA 2016 (amended 2025).
Officials stated that a mobile phone was also recovered from the suspect's possession during the operation. The investigation of the case is currently being handled by Investigating Officer Sub-Inspector Asif Hussain.
It should be noted that the final status of the allegations leveled in the case will be determined by the court following evidence and legal proceedings.
