Lahore Traffic Police Decides to Change Uniform Again

(Digital Itla) The City Traffic Police's changed uniform did not even last a year, as the decision has been made to alter it once again. According to police sources, the traffic police will revert to their previous uniform—switching from white shirts and blue trousers back to the bluish-grey uniform. Former CTO Athar Waheed had previously changed the traffic wardens' uniform, and sources state wardens were given 5,000 PKR for the change. A meeting chaired by the DIG Logistics, attended by the AIG Logistics and DSP Traffic Headquarters, was held regarding the update. Under the direction of the IG Punjab, personnel across all units will be issued a single uniform pattern, while the Punjab Highway Patrol will retain its current design.
