FAISALABAD, August 21, 2026: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has continued its crackdown against illegal housing schemes and unauthorized development on the directions of Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry. An FDA enforcement team conducted an operation on Satyana Road and demolished structures and other illegal constructions established as part of an unauthorized housing scheme named Hina Residential.
According to the FDA, the team inspected the legal status and approved records of housing schemes established or under development around Satyana Road. During the inspection, an illegal housing scheme was found on land in Chak No. 225-RB. The FDA team immediately demolished the boundary wall, construction structures and other unauthorized developments at the site using heavy machinery.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Director Town Planning-II Asma Mohsin and led by Estate Officer Faran Hashmi. Enforcement Inspector Aslam Ansari and other relevant staff also participated in the operation. The FDA administration directed the developer to complete all legal, technical and departmental requirements before starting any development work. The developer was warned that further unauthorized development or violations could result in departmental action and the registration of a criminal case under FDA laws.
FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said protecting citizens' interests and discouraging illegal housing schemes were among the authority's top priorities. He directed officials to intensify action against illegal housing schemes and unauthorized construction without discrimination. The FDA also advised citizens to verify the legal status, approval and relevant NOCs of any housing scheme before purchasing a plot or making an investment to avoid financial losses and legal complications.
