WASA Directed to Complete Repair and Restoration Work Without Further Delay
FAISALABAD, Aug. 12, 2026: Faisalabad Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh has set a deadline of September 30, 2026, for the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) to complete the repair, reconstruction and rehabilitation of Multan Road.
The commissioner visited the road to inspect its current condition and met local residents and other people present at the site to hear their concerns regarding the road's condition.
Strict Timeline Set for Road Restoration
During the visit, Dr Sheikh reviewed the condition of the road and, in the presence of members of the public, set a clear timeline for its repair and rehabilitation.
He directed the relevant authorities to ensure that the road restoration work was completed by the September 30 deadline, stressing that there would be no room for further delays.
The commissioner said timely completion of the project was essential to facilitate residents and improve traffic flow along the important road.
