(Digital Itla) The application procedure to obtain an interest-free loan of up to PKR 540,000 has been announced.
According to details, the Government of Punjab officially opened applications for the third phase of the "CM Punjab Livestock Card Scheme" to provide financial assistance to livestock farmers across the province and boost milk and meat production.
Under this scheme, interest-free financial aid is being provided to farmers on very easy terms.
This initiative allows eligible livestock farmers to secure interest-free loans up to PKR 540,000 to purchase animal feed, silage, mineral mixtures, and other approved nutritional products from registered dealers.
In this third phase, cardholders have also been granted a special relaxation enabling them to withdraw up to 25% of their approved loan amount in cash to cover other essential expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
According to official guidelines, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be a resident of Punjab.

Must own between 5 and 20 eligible calves (cow or buffalo).

Must possess a valid CNIC and an active mobile number registered in their name.

Animals must be registered and verified by the Livestock & Dairy Development Department.

Registration for the third phase began on July 15, 2026. Interested farmers can apply through multiple channels:

In person at nearby government veterinary hospitals or Livestock Department facilitation centers for assistance with animal registration and the application process.
