Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi stated that cases for approximately 89,000 Afghan nationals are currently being processed under the IFRP framework. On humanitarian grounds, stay extensions are being granted to around 16,000 Afghan women, children, and elderly individuals. The spokesperson added that there is no verified information regarding the incident near the Chitral border area and unverified reports should not be commented on until ground verification is complete.
