FAISALABAD: 5 Oct (Digital Itla) — Additional Sessions Judge Qamar-uz-Zaman Bhatti has announced the verdict in a high-profile commercial shop occupation case, sentencing six accused individuals—including former SHO Jhang Bazaar Afzal Mudhar—to three years in prison each.

The ruling was delivered in the case titled 'Muhammad Aslam versus Ali Ahmed' after a thorough review of witnesses and concrete evidence presented before the court. According to the case details, the commercial shops of a citizen were illegally occupied in May 2023 with the alleged backing of police. Finding the charges proven, the court sentenced former SHO Afzal Mudhar along with co-accused Ali Ahmed, Waseem, Tahir, Abid, and Huzaifa to three years imprisonment each.
