(Digital Itla) PPP Senator Sherry Rehman has demanded immediate re-polling at several polling stations in LA-8 Kotli-1 Raj Mahal.
According to ARY News, PPP leader Sherry Rehman urged authorities to take notice of complaints regarding the alleged holding of a PPP polling agent hostage in Raj Mahal, calling for immediate action at polling stations 77, 76, and 79 due to heavy crowds.
She stated that a large number of PPP voters are present, urging the deployment of additional police and security forces.
Sherry Rehman emphasized the need for extra personnel in LA-8 Kotli-1 to keep the polling process transparent and peaceful, adding that an impartial investigation into all complaints—including incidents at polling stations 91 through 94—is necessary.
The PPP leader noted that alleged interference and electoral irregularities by the PML-N have created a concerning situation that undermines the transparency of the electoral process, calling on the Election Commission to intervene immediately.
She stressed that voters must be provided a safe environment to exercise their right to vote freely, declaring that no pressure or obstruction will be tolerated.
