FAISALABAD, August 21, 2026: A tragic incident occurred in Faisalabad’s Data Park area, where a 62-year-old man was allegedly subjected to a brutal assault after a car window was broken. According to police, the incident took place in Street No. 7 of Data Park, within the jurisdiction of Mansoorabad Police Station. A stone reportedly fell from a rooftop and broke the window of a car parked in the street.
Following the incident, the car owners’ neighbours allegedly assaulted 62-year-old Maqsood over the broken window. Maqsood sustained severe injuries in the alleged attack and later died. The incident has caused fear and concern among residents of the area. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, while legal proceedings against the alleged suspects are underway.
